January 11th is National Human Trafficking Awareness Day.
The biggest question we receive as an organization is: how can I help? What can I do on a personal level?
One of the best ways to help support survivors of human trafficking is to change the conversation in our personal circles. To spread awareness on this day of recognition, O.U.R. VP of Aftercare, Jessica Mass, discusses how certain terminology can be harmful to the cause, as
well as dehumanizing to survivors of human trafficking.
