Friends, I truly desire my writings to be uplifting and encouraging – but in doing so I cannot ignore political issues – especially in these days and living in Upstate NY (NY-21). So kindly allow me a little leeway (decompressing from the Biden Presidential State of the Union) before we jump into scripture.
I know I cannot be the only New Yorker who’s beyond disgusted with this so-called presidential administration and the SOTU. Biden strayed very far away from the actual state of our union by wagging the Russian-Ukrainian proverbial dog while ignoring inflation realities of every-day Americans.
Come on man … we can’t talk about our economic failures when we have a country to destroy!
And don’t get me going with the NY Attorney General Letitia James and her Trump witch-hunt to keep him out of 2024. It’s truly unconscionable what these NY Democrat politicians have done – and are continuing to do to our state. I truly pray more Republicans like Congresswomen Elise Stefanik are elected.
Thank God for American Patriots like author and filmmaker Dinesh D‘Souza, among others mind you, like Catherine Engelbrecht of True the Vote, who together with D’Souza released a trailer to their new movie: 2000 Mules.
2000 Mules is the video evidence of how “the 2020 Presidential Election was rigged and stolen,” as President Trump has stated, and in which I, and millions of other thinking Americans agree with.

And although you, me and D’Souza can max out at a few thousand dollars donating to perspective political candidates, Facebook poured $419.5 million into the 2020 presidential election – all without any consequences. WOW … and we’re supposed to have confidence in our elections? Hello, Article V – Convention of States — NEW YORK – I’m looking at you please. Dear God Almighty, help us!
To An Unknown God – for your encouragement and renewed perspective lovey
In Acts 17:24-30, the Apostle Paul is continuing his missionary journey on his way to Corinth, the political capital of Greece. From Thessalonica, Berea and now Athens – Paul is found declaring the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ ‘in the synagogues with the Jews and the God-fearing Gentiles, and in the market place everyday with those who happened to be present’.
‘Some of the Epicurean and stoic philosophers were conversing with him … because he was preaching Jesus and the resurrection … and they took him to the Areopagus … as all the Athenians and strangers visiting there used to spend their time in nothing more than telling or hearing something new’ [as during Paul’s time, Athens was considered the university center of the world].
Paul, ‘passing through and examining the objects of your worship’ and finding an ‘altar with the inscription, “TO AN UNKNOWN GOD.’ ‘What therefore you worship in ignorance, this I proclaim to you:‘
“The God who made the world and all things in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; neither is he served by human hands; as though he needs anything, since He himself gives to all life and breathe and all things; and He made from one every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times, and the boundaries of their habitation, that they should seek God, if perhaps they might grope [reach out] for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His offspring’. Being then the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and thought of man. Therefore, having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all everywhere should repent, because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man [Jesus] whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead.”
