I’m going to do my best to answer this question as warmly and as accurately as possible from a personal, Christian perspective; for I believe one of my major giftings from God is possessing both a logical and emotional side to my personality. Thus, my heart seeks not to offend, but my mind likes to get to the point.

Sadly, it appears some politicians and the Democrats current Supreme Court nominee have actually forgotten the definition of WOMAN. Webster’s Dictionary, Thesaurus & Atlas (in printed form on page 647) defines WOMAN as follows: An adult human female; the female sex.

I’ve lived in Upstate New York my entire life and have seen the liberal/progressive agenda in action both professionally and on the ground in inner-cities. And quite frankly, I find this entire ‘gender ideology’ push both offensive and downright insidious as it targets our children for destruction; at the hands of and for the perverse benefit of mentally impaired adults, who by the way are found primarily in classrooms.

I oppose abortion and anything mis-aligned to traditional Christian values. And since I do not have children in the Glens Falls or Queensbury School Districts, I will not personally attend school board meetings (although I have inquired to do so), but rather I will write (God willing) to stand in solidarity with parents in New York opposed to liberal/progressive indoctrination of their children – Christian or non-Christians.

Yesterday, I was almost done with this article – then I went to the supermarket.

MY UTMOST FOR HIS HIGHEST, Oswald Chambers – March 29th Daily Devotional titled “Our Lord’s Surprise Visits” (full text below) from:

“The great need for the Christian worker is to be ready to face Jesus Christ at any and every turn. This is not easy, no matter what our experience is. The battle is not against sin or difficulties or circumstances, but against being so absorbed in work that we are not ready to face Jesus Christ at every turn. That is the one great need, not the facing our belief, or our creed, the question whether we are of any use, but to face Him.”

Jesus rarely comes where we expect Him; He appears where we least expect Him, and always in the most illogical connections. The only way a worker can keep true to God is by being ready for the Lord’s surprise visits. It is not service that matters, but intense spiritual reality, expecting Jesus Christ at every turn. This will give our life the attitude of child-wonder which He wants it to have. If we are going to be ready for Jesus Christ, we have to stop being religious (that is, using religion as a higher kind of culture) and be spiritually real.

If you are looking off unto Jesus, avoiding the call of the religious age you live in, and setting your heart on what He wants, on thinking on His line, you will be called unpractical and dreamy; but when He appears in the burden and the heat of the day, you will be the only one who is ready. Trust no one, not even the finest saint who ever walked this earth, ignore him, if he hinders your sight of Jesus Christ.

Yesterday in the Supermarket During one of Christ’s Visits

“Be careful, the darker it gets the brighter I am in you.”

Yesterday I had two people approach me in the supermarket – I forgot I was wearing one of our “Welcome Home” t-shirts from church as we’re active in our community. The first was a lovely older woman who shared photos of her grandson. The second was a man who surprisingly asked me for a hug. I respectfully declined – boundaries in ministry are key.

Ladies, you are such beautiful creatures – do you even realize the powerful giftings God has bestowed upon you for deep relationship? With one smile we have the ability to shine the ‘Love of God’ and bring great encouragement; and do so far greater than a counterfeit woman. Admittedly, this requires wisdom and discernment, as yesterday, in the produce isle, I felt the Holy Spirit say, “Be careful, the darker it gets the brighter I am in you.”

Dear sisters, please do not allow this world to define you – or redefine men in your life for that matter. SEX AND GENDER are not a fluid construct, and they alone belong to Father God (YAHWEH). Ladies, we do ourselves and our progeny great harm in going along with this nonsense.

I’m so very thankful God kept me busy when I was younger inside Upstate New York. I never got involved in any female movements; and I’m not denigrating their workings as a whole; but their parts are certainly suspect as their societal wedges deepen into strong root systems of man vs woman. It truly does take an act of God just to deal with each other on a daily basis. This lack of inclusion on my part has actually benefitted me in relationships with both male and females. I’m quick to smile – and I thank God for that – plus with mask mandates finally lifting, we can actually see each other’s faces again!

I’m a late ‘Generation X’ or ‘Gen Xer’ growing up close to Baby Boomers and even closer to Millennials. Growing up, MALE and FEMALE was common sense. STOP ALLOWING THE CRAZIES OF THIS WORLD TO RE-DEFINE THE OBVIOUS!

Again, my heart is not to offend – but my mind gets to the point:

I’m tired of adults financially profiting from their destruction of our children. No, I am not a mother, but I’ve spent many years ministering to hurting children and families inside inner-cities. The stories I could tell would break your heart:  consequences of poor decision making by parents, coupled with erosive legislative inner-workings have created longstanding fraud and lack of accountability – the exact reason I voted for Trump. Nature abhors a vacuum – and when Congress chooses to outsource their responsibilities to nameless, faceless bureaucrats it’s only a matter of time before the foundation is destroyed. And that, ladies and gentleman is the plan and I know how the story ends, we all do if we know God’s loving heart for humanity (John 3:16).

So, in light of this knowledge, how do we best live on the titanic as it sinks? I’m not suggesting anarchy or anything else; I’m simply stating here and now that I for one, want to be found on the top deck holding a sign pointing a way to the lifeboats (salvation in Jesus Christ). No longer will you find me on lower decks – for whatever the purpose.

Living in New York I never personally had to ‘choose life’ or ‘choose choice’ – but a friend in high school did and it was traumatizing enough to her, to bring a soberness to me. This I thought, was a very special thing. I wasn’t a Christian, but even in my teenage years I knew the gravity of life. Lovey, and take heart if you are a woman who has had to make that decision. Get right with God, ask Him to forgive you; then simply live – and do so rejoicing, ‘for the one who the Son sets free is free indeed’ (John 8:36)!

Jeremiah 1:5

4The word of the LORD came to me, saying: 5“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” 6“Ah, Lord GOD,” I said, “I surely do not know how to speak, for I am only a child!”…

Psalm 139:13

12even the darkness is not dark to You, but the night shines like the day, for darkness is as light to You. 13For You formed my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works, and I know this very well.…

Ladies, MEN can never be knit together like WOMEN and all of our biological faculties necessary to create life. In the end, society only creates Dr. Frankenstein’s monster.  And isn’t this what we’ve seen time and time again? Don’t get me wrong, I’m not putting myself above anyone else – I went through my very own Frankenstein phase in middle and high schools.  I was horrifically angry and raw emotionally from great loss. I despised everyone and fought against having to live with strangers and attend a new school; and this was only my first experience – at age 14. I promise you dear one, I know brokenness and would never consider myself above anyone. But here’s the thing, we all have intimate relationships with brokenness throughout our lives. Good News is that Christ wants to scoop up all of those broken pieces and create something very special and beautiful for you. And once you see your final result you can’t help but display it.  And this does not mean you won’t ever experience hardships again – it means next time (if following Christ) you’ve grown stronger and better able to handle those curve balls life likes to lob at you.

John 3:16-18

16For God so loved the world that He gave His one and onlye Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. 18Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

I pray you discover Father God’s heart for you – He is on your side and instructs men and women to equally love and respect each other.

Ladies, please don’t get caught up in terminology or allow people to profit from your emotions in political warfare. I’ve certainly had my share, but I’m greatly limiting my exposure to it. I can stand for or against causes … but I pray I do so in God-honoring ways.

If you really want to know what God says about a topic then research yourself – in full context. And have grace for yourself. Once you begin to understand God, you understand yourself, and how very far you actually are away from God’s heart (Romans 3:23). But take courage, this is just so you’re able to find your barring (Romans 3:19-20); for how does a ship captain navigate if he is without instrumentation? He must look up and regain navigational perspective before all is lost. It’s terrifying, I know! But once you’re cleansed and set right you are a ‘new creation’ (2 Corinthians 5) bound by limitless love and Godly passions – if you choose of course; but it is always your choice. God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34) and He’s also a gentleman, standing at the door (Revelation 3:20) of our hearts … knocking.

Here’s a full list of topics on what the Bible says about women – I pray you read in full context. Questions? Email me … I might be able to shed some additional light. But I highly recommend you step away from the keyboard and get involved in a local, Bible believing and teaching fellowship near you. I’m very careful to protect my time – I pray you’re able to do the same.

One of many precious books which helped me early on was Steps to Christ. It’s a wonderful read and quite short. I’ll be sure to recommend others but here’s a PDF link to the book and quick synopsis:

Steps to Christ Encouragement when You Need It 1. How much God loves you – pp. 5-10. 2. Why you must be born again – pp. 10-14. 3. How to come to God in repentance pp. 14-24. 4. How to confess your sins to Him – pp. 24-28 5. How to surrender and dedicate your life to God – pp. 28-32. 6.

Ladies, when you come across scripture verses like Ephesians 5:22-33 understand they are commands for both women and men. Father God (YAWHEW) wants men and women to equally love and respect each other. Admittedly this is a sheer mystery to me; for how does one ‘cling to another’ when both are so equally selfish? The Bible itself declares of its mysterious nature:

Ephesians 5:32-33

32This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church. 33 However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: 10 If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. 11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? 12 Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Wow, life itself is surely fearful, no wonder over and over Christ says, “Fear Not.”

And no wonder so many heroes of the Bible resisted God, and I am no exception. God has wanted me to write my story for years, but it’s only now that I’m obeying.  Honestly, it takes time to really know where God is leading, at least it is for me, only problem is that I’m not getting any younger – none of us are!

So perhaps it’s time we, “Get Busy Living or Get Busy Dying.”

Truthfully, if it wasn’t for music, I’m not so sure I could have really accessed Father with all of my brokenness. I’m not a professional singer, but daily I lift my heart, mind, soul and voice in praise. And when I lived inside the inner-cities, God would just prompt me to sing; like when children in my care were in earshot of the street’s verbose nastiness. In those moments my best defense was to sing, and do so loudly, until the chaos ended. Handing me a microphone is always interesting.

You see lovey, there’s a whole world outside your hurts and God wants to heal you, so you’re best equipped to help others. But even in this, you must give yourself grace and do not worry about ‘helping’ God; for He does not need us, He simply asks if we want to come along for the ride and use healthy boundaries to do so. It’s us who profit … and God willing, we meet other precious ‘sinners saved by grace’ willing to share life with us as ‘a chord of three (or more) strands is not quickly broken’.

In the end, I will be fearless in declaring WOMEN ARE WOMEN, MEN ARE MEN, ‘STAY AWAY FROM ISLAM’ and Jesus Christ is, “the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14).”

John 3 – You must be ‘Born Again’

1Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a leader of the Jews. 2He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs You are doing if God were not with him.”

3Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.a

4“How can a man be born when he is old?” Nicodemus asked. “Can he enter his mother’s womb a second time to be born?”

5Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. 6Flesh is born of flesh, but spirit is born of the Spirit. 7Do not be amazed that I said, ‘Youb must be born again.’ 8The wind blows where it wishes. You hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

9“How can this be?” Nicodemus asked.

10“You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus, “and you do not understand these things? 11Truly, truly, I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, and yet you people do not accept our testimony.

12If I have told you about earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things? 13No one has ascended into heaven except the One who descended from heaven—the Son of Man.c 14Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15that everyone who believes in Him may have eternal life.d

19And this is the verdict: The Light has come into the world, but men loved the darkness rather than the Light because their deeds were evil. 20Everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come into the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21But whoever practices the truth comes into the Light, so that it may be seen clearly that what he has done has been accomplished in God.”f

John’s Testimony about Jesus

22After this, Jesus and His disciples went into the Judean countryside, where He spent some time with them and baptized.

23Now John was also baptizing at Aenon near Salim, because the water was plentiful there, and people kept coming to be baptized. 24(For John had not yet been thrown into prison.)

25Then a dispute arose between John’s disciples and a certain Jewg over the issue of ceremonial washing. 26So John’s disciples came to him and said, “Look, Rabbi, the One who was with you beyond the Jordan, the One you testified about—He is baptizing, and everyone is going to Him.”

27John replied, “A man can receive only what is given him from heaven. 28You yourselves can testify that I said, ‘I am not the Christ, but am sent ahead of Him.’ 29The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend of the bridegroom stands and listens for him, and is overjoyed to hear the bridegroom’s voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete. 30He must increase; I must decrease.

31The One who comes from above is above all. The one who is from the earth belongs to the earth and speaks as one from the earth. The One who comes from heaven is above all.h 32He testifies to what He has seen and heard, yet no one accepts His testimony. 33Whoever accepts His testimony has certified that God is truthful. 34For the One whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.

35The Father loves the Son and has placed all things in His hands. 36Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. Whoever rejects the Son will not see life. Instead, the wrath of God remains on him.”i

Did You Know God Loves to Showcase His Mercy?

How would we live our lives if we truly understood that our purpose is to love Him and to love His reflection in our neighbors? The truth is we are chosen, loved, welcomed, counted holy and blameless because of what Christ accomplished on the cross for us. Jesus said “It is finished” (John 19:30) and He alone paid the price for us to be received by His Father in eternity.
