So far, here’s a reading on Theodore Munger (1830-1910) as well as an online archive of the book which I am reading below titled: ON THE THRESHOLD by Theodore Munger, Theologian – reprint of my personal addition: 1881

By the way friends, I have other wonderful vintage books which I bought at auction in Central Bridge. Hope you too enjoy my readings of such books. I DO enjoy writing — but I also think it’s important to share my voice and inflections therein regarding cultural topics and other readings.

Blessings, Mary

Christians, Can We Stop Romanticizing Marriage & Scriptures Already?

Don’t get me wrong, I believe healthy marriages are the foundation to any flourishing society and I’m in no way minimizing or chastising marriage or the need for children and families. I’m simply advocating for realism in our Christian literature and daily devotionals targeted towards women – especially as it relates to the relationship between Christ as the bridegroom and the church as the bride. It's like the Easter Bunny to Christ’s Resurrection or Santa Clause to the Birth of Christ - and it's the exact reason I prefer Oswald Chambers over others like Max Lucado.
