All Of These Men Have Ugly Past That Jesus Washed Away

None of these men have a squeaky clean past. They came from the bottom with all kinds of sin and dysfunction attached to them. Sex, women, gangs, drugs, and everything else you could think of was part of their identity and story. But after having an encounter with Jesus all of their sins, failures, and mistakes were washed away. God can forgive the worse of the worse. He can take your horrible past and give you a brand new future. Society and people might write you off, but there is hope for you. There is room at the cross for you. We serve a God who is rich in mercy and grace. He is the God of second and third chances. There is no place too dark that His light can’t reach you. There is no place too lost that His love can’t find you. If you repent and turn away from your sin your sins can be washed away. In Acts 2 Peter said to repent and be baptized for the remission of sins. The remission of sins…. no matter what they are. They can be washed away.
