The Aqeedah Creed, according to Lloyd is the Islamic ‘Statement of Faith’ which is equivalent to our Christian ‘Nicaea Creed’. It was created in the 9th century, and dictates what Muslims are to believe, without any questions or any doubts, or any uncertainties.
Basically it established the orthodox beliefs every Muslim is to follow, and refutes any deviations from those beliefs.
Thus, if a Muslim is in doubt, they must simply say “Allah knows best”, and then just accept what they are told to do.
Lloyd then went on to say that these beliefs within the Creed Muslim must submit to are requisite for their heart alone, but not spoken with their mouth openly.
The one sacrosanct law is that they must never permit any imperfection of Muhammad’s character to be spoken openly.
Believing in your heart but not your mouth stands in direct contradiction to what we believe as Christians. In Romans 10:9 which says “If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved”.
Christians must say exactly what they believe publicly and openly, while Muslims must never say what they believe openly, in direct contrast.
That is why Muslims will tell you whatever you want to hear, and will tell you just the opposite of what they believe, because they are not to divulge their beliefs publicly.
No wonder we can never know what our Muslim friends believe or practice, because they are obliged not to say so to us or any other non-Muslims what they know.
