New York City Council’s Committee on Higher Education held a hearing on June 30 to discuss antisemitism and anti-Israel bias among City University of New York faculty and students.
Susan Tuchman, Esq. leads the ZOA’s Center for Law & Justice, and has made ground-breaking progress in securing equal protection for Jewish students under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act.
Now the question is – Has this legal civil rights protection ever been enforced for Jewish victims of hate crimes on CUNY campuses?
Watch Ms. Tuchman’s opening statements, detailing her experiences with students who suffered from antisemitic bullying and harassment because of their Jewish identity.
The hearing went on for about eight hours, because there were so many witnesses lined up to testify.
