Fr. Pine answers a surprisingly illuminating philosophy question: are we morally obligated to always do what’s best? In other words, should we feel guilty for not doing the most extreme “good” thing we should do in every situation.
Pine reminds us that every moral decision should be made in context; that we should seek holiness in the sane and mundane. Remember, God gives us abundant resources to reach holiness. Seek Him more fully every day in your proper way and you will be spotless before Him.
