It is now the hour for us to rise from the sleep of sin and of religious indifference. Let us start our preparation for the blessing of Christmas with great confidence in Jesus, for “no one who waits for (Him) shall be put to shame (Psalm 25:3).”
How would we live our lives if we truly understood that our purpose is to love Him and to love His reflection in our neighbors? The truth is we are chosen, loved, welcomed, counted holy and blameless because of what Christ accomplished on the cross for us. Jesus said “It is finished” (John 19:30) and He alone paid the price for us to be received by His Father in eternity.
I surely wish I was a good deal younger than 31 when I gave my life to Christ. Now I walk in newness everyday and I can honestly say God has made me a much joyful person. And regarding tithing – God has surely proved His blessings upon my life.

Coming from my own brokenness via childhood chaos I’m thankful to experience many healthy, beautiful people in my life. As a single Christian woman my heart surely breaks over the lost but my involvement in evangelism exists inside my home church or other safe surroundings.
My only response to this can be that regardless of your affinity for or against Trump, one must recognize the severity of the FBI raid. In my humble opinion, this does nothing more than to cement my support for Trump/DeSantis 2024 simply because I am sick and tired of the abuse of power in Washington.
This world will tell you that you are unworthy. That you are lacking the family heritage or the qualifications to allow your spirit to flourish. This is not so with our Lord Jesus Christ! What the world devalues, our Lord values exponentially. And why? Indeed to display HIS glory in all things, and to bestow mercy and grace where HE alone chooses to do so.

I just finished re-reading 2 Peter and it reminds me of Peter’s nobility as he describes the purpose of the letter is to remind believers of the commandments of our Lord Jesus Christ as he was once an eyewitness.
How many times can you think back to decisions you’ve made without God? The most destructive ones I’d imagine. For me, it was in succumbing to what I thought would be a temporary roommate situation.
Is it not that the Declaration of Independence first organized the social compact on the foundation of the Redeemer’s mission upon earth? That it laid the corner stone of human government upon the first precepts of Christianity, and gave to the world the first irrevocable pledge of the fulfillment of the prophecies, announced directly from Heaven at the birth of the Savior and predicted by the greatest of the Hebrew prophets six hundred years before?
